How to Customize Columns and Exports
Admins can now customize which columns appear in certain tables. This lets each admin user simplify their view, hide fields they don’t need, and reorder columns to match their workflow.
Where this is available
Column customization is available on supported list-style tables, including:
- Gifts
- Givers
- Schedules
- Payouts
Some detail pages and payout detail views may support CSV export but do not show the table column customization button.
How to customize table columns
- Open a supported table.
- Click Customize columns.

- In the modal, choose which columns should be visible.
- Checked columns will show in the table.
- Unchecked columns will be hidden.
- Drag columns into the order you want them displayed.
- Click Save.

The table updates immediately after saving.
Saved preferences
Your table layout is remembered for that page on your account.
That means:
- Hidden columns stay hidden after refreshing the page.
- Column order stays the same after refreshing the page.
- Preferences are saved per page/table, so changing Gifts does not automatically change Schedules.
Resetting columns
Click Reset in the Customize Columns modal to restore the default column list and order.
Canceling changes
Click Cancel to close the modal without saving changes.
If you uncheck or reorder columns but click Cancel, the table will remain unchanged.
Required column selection
At least one column must remain selected. If all columns are unchecked, the Save button is disabled.
Customize CSV Exports
Admins can now choose which columns are included in CSV exports from supported tables. This makes it easier to download reports with only the fields needed for accounting, reconciliation, donor review, or external systems.
Where this is available
CSV column customization is available on supported exportable tables, including:
- Gifts
- Payouts
- Givers
- Schedules
How to customize a CSV export
- Open a supported table.
- Click Export.

- The Export columns modal opens.
- Choose which fields to include in the CSV.
- Checked fields will be included.
- Unchecked fields will be excluded.
- Drag fields into the order you want them to appear in the CSV.
- Click Export.
- When the export is ready, click Download CSV.

Saved export preferences
Your selected CSV columns are saved when you export.
The next time you export from the same page:
- The same columns will already be selected.
- The same column order will be remembered.
- Preferences are saved per page/table.
Resetting CSV columns
Click Reset in the Export Columns modal to restore the default export columns.
Canceling changes
Click Cancel to close the export modal without saving changes.
Column changes are only saved when you click Export.
Required column selection
At least one export column must be selected. If all columns are unchecked, the Export button is disabled.
CSV Date Format Option
For exports that include date fields, admins can choose whether exported dates include the time of day.
When enabled, date columns include both the date and time in the organization’s timezone.
Example:
2026-09-09 2:30 PM
If you do not include time of day:
When disabled, date columns export as date-only values.
Example:
2026-09-09
The selected date format is saved with the export preferences and remembered the next time the admin exports from that page.
Payout Export Options
Exporting payouts includes an additional option: Include gift details
If Include gift details is turned on, the export includes additional gift detail data.
Depending on the payout contents, this may include:
- Payout columns
- Gift columns
When gift details are included, the export may download as a ZIP file with 2 documents instead of a single CSV.

Print Payouts
There is an additional feature called print payouts that exports payouts and gifts details.
